Thirteen members of the Nashua MBA Class of 2024 attended a graduation ceremony in Nashua on May 15th. Family and friends gathered to celebrate the graduating students’ achievement and enjoy the festive luncheon that followed.
Thirteen international students in the Nashua MBA program began their Optional Practical Training (OPT) this past Spring, and another two in the summer. OPT is a program by which the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) authorizes F-1 student visa holders to work and obtain practical training to complement their studies.

Horizons 2020 Meta Cities Project
Hellenic American University is part of a consortium of 21 partners from Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Denmark, which are working together to create an Excellence Hub for Future Cities and Regions in Southeast Europe as part of a European Commission-funded Horizons Europe Meta Cities Project.

Dr. Pete Tsolis Director of the University's Business Programs and Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, has been included in
Greek America’s "Forty Under 40: Class of 2024". He joins an illustrious group of young CEOs, academics, artists, and other professionals who are being honored for their professional and philanthropic achievements.
Two members of the Nashua MBA Class of 2024 received awards at commencement: Seema Regmi (Difference Maker Award) and Poonam Gautam (Professional Practice Award). In the words of Marieke Martin, Dean of the Nashua Campus, noted: “Both exhibited professionalism throughout the program and left a lasting impact that will benefit future students.”
All the international students in this year’s graduating class at Nashua have found employment through their OPT opportunity.
Faidra Georgiadou and Georgios Virvilis, both in the final year of studies in the B.A. in English Language and Literature program in Athens, recently delivered presentations at the 22nd biennial conference of the International Lawrence Durrell Society (ILDS). The conference, this year entitled “Dark” Durrell, was hosted July 4 – 6, 2024 at the University’s campus in Athens.
MAAL students in the University’s M.A. in Applied Linguistics program and international MBA students on the Nashua campus are taking part in a new writing tutoring project designed by the Center for Teaching Excellence.
Student Visit to United Way Nashua
Students are encouraged to take part in a visit to the United Way of Greater Nashua, organized by the Student Body Council on October 27, 2023, from 10 am to 12 pm. Participants will meet with United Way staff, learn about the organization’s projects, and distribute the food that was collected during the recent campus food drive. Eleni Plemmenou (BSPsy ‘22) has accepted the position of Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Adelaide School of Medicine as part of conducting her master's thesis on doctor-patient communication in the pediatric mental health training unit.
Dimitris Rizos (BM '22) has recently been accepted into the highly selective Masters in Conducting program of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater.
Nashua MBA student selected for Iacocca Global Village program 2023
Sri Subhakar Ganapuram (MBA ’23) is completing the summer 2023 Iacocca Global Village program at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The intensive 5-week residency program of workshops, design challenges and service-learning projects is designed to develop participants’ interdisciplinary teamwork and entrepreneurship skills.

International students summer CPT placements
Five Nashua-campus MBA students, among whom Edla Priyadharshini (MBA ’23), are doing a practicum this summer in the framework of the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) program. The CPT is a required component for Nashua MBA students in the STEM-focused MBA program with specialization in Management Information Systems.

Success for students in the M.S. in Sales Management
A summer 2023 review of student outcomes in the
M.S. in Sales Management program at Athens found that after starting the MSSM program 70% of current students and graduates received a promotion from their firm or switched employers for a better position.
