Theodorou, Stephanie
Stephanie Theodorou is a graduate of Georgetown University (BA) in Washington, D.C. and Temple University (PhD) in Philadelphia, PA. Her teaching and research specialties include Western Continental and Asian Philosophy, World Religions, Philosophical Hermeneutics, Epistemology, and Naturalism. She has taught a wide variety of courses, including interdisciplinary ones, in higher education for over 20 years and served as Director of the Honors Program at Immaculata University. Her published research includes studies on the role of metaphor and symbolism in cognition and consciousness in comparative (East/West) thought, as well as animal cognition and philosophical naturalism. Dr. Theodorou is an adjunct instructor who teaches in the General Education program.
