Varvogli, Elisavet
Elisavet Varvogli, M.A., Ph.D., is a psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice and adjunct professor in the School of Medicine at Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the post-graduate interdisciplinary program “Stress Management and Health Promotion.” She is on the publishing board and faculty of the UNESCO section of Adolescent Health and Medicine. Before that she was adjunct faculty at Northeastern University, Boston MA where she taught master’s level psychology courses. She is a licensed psychologist in Boston MA and Greece. Dr. Varvogli is certified in and has extensive clinical experience in CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, IFS, Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, and IQ and personality testing, and supervising students. Dr. Varvogli has earned her MA at Tufts University, her Ph.D. at Northeastern University and has completed her post-doctoral training at Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, where she worked for 10 years as a psychologist. Dr. Varvogli has over 80 scientific publications in international refereed journals and over 40 published books in Greek and English about self-development.
