Andreoulis, Alexandros

Alexandros Andreoulis has a BSc in Operations Research & Marketing and an MSc in Finance & Banking from the Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB), as well as an MSc in Logistics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. Additionally, he holds professional certifications in Project Management Professional (PMI), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (IASSC) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS). Alexandros has more than 15 years of professional experience in supply chain & logistics, working for various multinational corporations, and is currently the Logistics Manager for ZTE Telecommunications Corp. for Greece, Cyprus & Israel. He is an adjunct faculty member in the MBA program at Hellenic American University.

Ansel, Stanley

Stanley Ansel graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (USLA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law. Before graduating from UCLA he served in the U.S. Navy for three years, living in Japan for two years and on an ammunition ship in Vietnamese waters for one year. After completing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Ansel went on to obtain a Master's degree in Management from the University of Arkansas. Besides living and teaching in the U.S., he has lived and taught in Greece, Albania, Germany and India. In addition to many years of teaching experience in accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, and statistics, Stanley also has many years of practical experience in the areas of accounting, finance and marketing. Mr. Ansel is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the BSBA program.

Biginas, Konstantinos

Konstantinos holds a BA in Economics from Staffordshire University, an MSc in International Marketing Management from the University of East London, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education from the University of Coventry. He is currently doing his PhD at Hellenic American University. He has served as the Assistant Dean of London College of International Business Studies and as Senior Manager at the London Centre of Executive Excellence. He has extensive teaching, research, and leadership experience from his positions at Coventry University London, University of London, University of East London, University of Bedfordshire, London College of International Business Studies, EU Business School, and Open University. Konstantinos has led and participated in McGraw Hill and Emerald Publications book series and is a reviewer for the Springer Nature Journal of Knowledge Economy and Springer Nature Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He is a Fellow of CMI, recognized Chartered Manager and Senior Fellow of HEA. He currently teaches in the Business program at Hellenic American University.

Christoulaki, Vasia

Vasia Christoulaki is a service designer at GRNET, a semi- public organization under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance. She holds a Master of Arts in Design Management from Staffordshire University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Management, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Product & Systems Design Engineering. Her academic background and professional experience focus on embedding a design-led, co-creative approach in organizations. In the context of the projects that she has been involved in, Vasia has led user research activities and designed co-creation tools for non-designers, and has co-designed, prototyped, and tested (with end-users and internal stakeholders) new products and services, many of which have been launched in Europe. Among the organizations she has collaborated with in the past are Deutsche Telekom HQ, Vodafone Europe, Municipality of Athens, the National Organization Against Drugs (O.KA.NA), and the international N.G.O. Ashoka. Vasia teaches in the business programs at Hellenic American University.

Consunji, Raul

Raul Consunji received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University in the City of York and has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines. He has taught Finance and Accounting for numerous Boston area universities including Northeastern University and Salem State University. Prior to entering a teaching career, Mr. Consunji spent several years working in Financial Planning and Analysis for several Fortune 500 firms, mostly in the retail and publishing fields. A large portion of this time was spent in strategic planning, in executing mergers and acquisitions transactions, and in new business development. He also has worked in France and the Philippines and speaks, reads and writes German and French. He holds an active CPA license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and also runs his own consulting practice specializing in financial, accounting and tax issues. Mr. Consunji’s research interests include personal financial planning and investing, stock valuation, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions. At Hellenic American University, he is an adjunct faculty member and teaches in the MBA program.

Drouart, Eric

Eric Drouart, a French native, received a Business Administration Diploma from the Institut de Préparation à l’Administration et à la Gestion (IPAG) in Paris, France. He then came to the US and attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, where he received two degrees, a BBA with a concentration in Marketing Management and an MSBA. He transitioned to academia in 2000, and has been teaching at Rivier University in Nashua, NH (USA), Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT (USA) and Assumption University in Worcester, MA (USA). He has also taught seminar courses at IPAG – Nice Campus (France).

Eric has extensive international marketing and general management experience, including 15 years with New York-based Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has spent four years in Tokyo, Japan working in New Products and Business Development for a J.V. in OTC medicines, one-year short-term assignment in Italy for the transition management of a recently acquired Italian skin care company, and five years (1994-1999) in France after the acquisition of a French family medicines company. He also has prior international marketing research experience with General Foods Corporation (White Plains, NY), and Burke International Research Corporation (Cincinnati, OH, and New York City). Mr. Drouart is an adjunct faculty member teaching in the business program at Hellenic American University.

El Gazzar, Nampil

Nampil El Gazzar has a BSc. in Law from Alexandria University, Egypt, an MBA from Strathclyde Business School in the UK, MSc. In Sports Management from IE Business School in Spain and a PhD in Global Leadership Development from Dublin City University in the Republic of Ireland. He has 32 years of working experience including 25 years in managerial positions in Greece, Egypt, Republic of Ireland and the UK within banking, manufacturing, education, and healthcare recruitment sectors. He has presented at the European Academy of Management and other conferences. He is currently an adjunct faculty member for the MBA program at the Hellenic American College.

Ellinidis, George

George Ellinidis is Vice-President and General Counsel, Canada & International, for Smucker Foods of Canada Corp., where he has been employed since 2009. His work there includes contract law, advertising and marketing law, litigation, cross-border issues, and competition and trademark law.

Mr. Ellinidis was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997 and received his B.A. from the University of Toronto (University College), his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center. He began his career as an associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Toronto where he specialized in corporate/commercial law before moving on to become General Counsel for Toyota/Lexus Financial Services.

He has taught Business Law at Toronto Metropolitan University since 2004 and more recently at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, and Osgoode Hall Law School. Mr. Ellinidis is an adjunct instructor at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the BSBA program.

Fournogerakis, Nikolaos

Nikolaos Fournogerakis holds a BSc in Statistics from the University of Piraeus and a MSc in Data Science from the American College of Greece. With over 7 years of experience in the casino and gaming industry, he uses Data Analysis, Statistics and Machine Learning techniques to analyze games performance and identify patterns in players behavior in order to enhance business decision making. He also works as a Data Science Instructor at the Big Blue Academy and as a Data Scientist in the sports analytics industry, at Statathlon. At Hellenic American University he is an adjunct faculty member in the business department.

Furtado, Brian

Brian Furtado is a writer, comic artist, and filmmaker. A graduate of New England College (B.A. Creative Writing and Comparative Literature) he served as their first-ever undergraduate teaching assistant in both Creative Writing and Comparative Literature. He went on to earn his MFA in Writing from Goddard College. In his years as a writing professor, he has taught and developed several college writing and literature courses, spanning from topics in literary movements to comic scriptwriting. He is also the writer, director, and producer of the web series, Gameplay Fowl, which has just entered its second season. Brian is an adjunct faculty member teaching in the MBA program.

Galanakis, Anastasios

Mr. Anastasios Galanakis has over two decades of experience in B2B sales, 18 years of which in the marine manufacturing industry. He is currently CCO and vice president of a multinational marine equipment manufacturing firm with a commercial presence in 130 countries. He was won sales excellence awards for B2B online ordering platform & CRM and Made in Greece Awards for Branded Product and Export Excellence. He holds a Doctorate in Export Sales Management (DBA) from Edinburgh Business School and maintains regular contact with the academic community through his publications and guest lectures in sales education at business schools. He is a member of the Global Science Sales Institute, the Greek Sales Institute, and the Academic Maritime Sector BCA Advisory Board. Dr. Galanakis is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the M.S. in Sales Management program.

Gatzoflias, Ioannis

Ioannis K. Gatzoflias earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University in Essex, an M.Sc. in Banking and Finance from Stirling University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Stirling University. The area of his research was financial innovation in the Banking sector in the UK and US. He worked as Head of Banking Trends in the Departments of Strategic Planning and Strategic Analysis of Egnatia Bank (2001-2005) and Deputy Chief Financial Officer in Emporiki Credicom Bank (2009-2010). He was an ad hoc consultant for Clayton Euro Risk for projects in the banking sector (2013-2018). Since 2010, he serves as Chief Financial Officer of Electronet S.A and on July 2022 promoted to Deputy CEO. Since 2002, he is teaching in distance-learning graduate programs of British universities in the fields of Economics, Finance, Accounting and Banking. He is an adjunct faculty member and teaches in the BSBA and MBA programs of HAU since 2007 and form 2021 is an Associate Professor.

Giannakis, Damian

Damianos Giannakis holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. He has extensive business experience including 29 years of work in marketing and sales managerial positions. At Hellenic American University, he has been a full-time faculty member since 2004, having served in various administrative positions in parallel to his academic workload. He is a full-time faculty member and teaches in the BSBA and MBA programs.

His research interests include Relationship Marketing, Human Resource Management, Business Partnering, Social Marketing.

Hansel, Jeffrey

Jeffrey Hansel holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Information Technology from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. He has over twenty years of professional experience in credit and banking, managing highly complex middle-market relationships with lending sizes up to $75 million. He is currently vice president of a community bank where he manages all aspects of the Small Business Lending Group, and has helped the bank win several U.S. Small Business Administration awards. Jeffrey has taught courses in operations research, sales management, financial statement & cash flow analysis, business legal structures, small business lending basics, and start-up lending. He is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the MBA program.

Katsiklis, Dimitrios

Dimitrios Katsiklis is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, finance, and consulting. He has worked on over 44 projects across various industries and countries, with a focus on financial planning, business development, debt financing, and shipping. Along with his professional pursuits, Dimitrios has a strong background in Greek Orthodox Christian traditions, having served as a chanter in various churches and monasteries in Greece, Mt. Athos, and the USA. With his talent for identifying opportunities and building relationships, Dimitrios has secured significant amounts of capital funding for various companies and projects. He has raised funds for a Greek and British shipping company and secured financing for pulp paper processing companies and the largest paper and tissue factory in Greece/Balkans. Additionally, he has played a key role in major deals, including the M&A of the largest stem cell cryobank in Greece and the 4G network structure in Bulgaria, and an eco-friendly dry bulk shipping company for which he secured more than $100M. Dimitrios is proficient in multiple languages, including Ancient Greek, and has technical expertise in MS Office Suite and Google Suite. He has an MBA from Hellenic American University and a BSc in Pastoral Studies and Theology from the University Ecclesiastical Academy of Athens. Dimitrios is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the business program.

Kontaxis, Gerasimos

Gerasimos Kontaxis received his M.Sc. in Information Technology from Hellenic American University and a Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems from the American College of Greece. He is an Apple and Microsoft Certified Trainer and serves as an assistant coordinator for the IT exams at the Hellenic American Education Center. In the past, he has taught Project Management courses for Aircraft Maintenance at the Olympic Air base, and served as an IT trainer for women inmates at Korydallos prison through a drug rehabilitation program. He is an adjunct faculty member and teaches in the General Education and BSIT programs.

Lalatsis, Haris

Haris Lalatsis holds an MBA from the American College of Thessaloniki. Since 2008, he has been working in market research and for the last 3 years, he has served as CEO of ierax analytix, a boutique research agency he founded with offices in Athens and Thessaloniki. Throughout his career, he has cooperated with most of Greece’s major brands in both qualitative and quantitative research projects. His experience is mostly in the food and beverage sector, with product and package testing, focus groups, data analytics and decoding consumers’ decision-making process. He is a TEDx Speaker and the only ICA for Greece working directly with Euromonitor International London. He is also a certified member of ESOMAR, a global professional organization for market, social, and opinion researchers. Haris teaches in the Business programs of Hellenic American University.

Maloukos, Georgios

Georgios Maloukos is a graduate of Deree College, Athens, Greece (BSC in Business Administration), as well as the University of Exeter, UK (MBA in General Management). Mr. Maloukos, possesses extensive experience in teaching Business Administration subjects, after having worked in several private higher education institutions in Greece, that are affiliated to, or are accredited by UK and US-based universities and accreditation bodies. The range of taught subjects includes Management and Organizational Behavior, Business strategy and Marketing Management, among others. Additional areas of specific academic interest include the use of ESP and Business English in International Business Operations, formal and informal group dynamics within an organization, as well as the area of talent retention, knowledge capital acquisition and leadership pipeline management within an organization. Finally, he has conducted extensive research in Skyscrapers and Tall Buildings as a tool for Urban and Real Estate Development worldwide, with numerous contributions in the field over the years. Mr. Maloukos is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the business program.

Martin, Marieke

Marieke Martin received her Bachelors of Science in BioScience and Technology from the University of New Hampshire, and her Masters in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Currently, she is working toward completing her Ph.D. dissertation in International Business Strategy, from Southern of New Hampshire University. Her area of research focused, under the tutelage of the former chief economist for OPEC, on Emerging Capital Markets, (specifically Eastern European Market nations such as Russia and Turkey), innovation and international new ventures. Ms. Martin has worked in the private sector participating in many government funded research projects focused both in finance and biotechnology. Prior to her recruitment at CitiGroup as a Wealth Manager, she worked as the Northeast Technical Specialist for the German biotech firm Machery-Nagel, a worldwide maker of medical research chemicals and filters, where she worked on corporate and government research project implementation and management, and U.S. and international business development.

Martin, Rodger

Rodger Martin has over forty years of experience as a journalist, editor, poet and writer and has covered every Democratic national political convention from 1974 to 2004. He currently teaches journalism at Keene State College, home of the national award-winning college newspaper The Equinox. He studied public speaking under the man who taught John F. Kennedy to speak and has taught it extensively for Mt. Wachusett Community College’s Fort Devens, Campus. Martin has published four poetry books, his latest, For All the Tea in Zhōngguό (Hobblebush Books, 2019), a collection of both his own and Chinese poets in translation, with each poem written in Mandarin and English. He has received awards from The New Hampshire state Council on the Arts and was chosen to represent the United States at the Hongzhou Prominent Figure Celebration in 2012. He is currently an editor of The Granite State Poetry Series, president of the Worcester County Poetry Association and Vice President of the Monadnock Writers Group. Mr. Martin is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the MBA program.

Mougios, Konstantinos

Konstantinos Mougios is a PhD Holder in the field of Social Psychology at the University of Bolton, England. He holds an Executive MBA in Tourism Management from the Institute Universitaire Kurt Bosch, in Sion, Switzerland. He received his post graduate degree in Higher Education from the University of Derby, England and his Diploma in International Hotel Management from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Mougios also holds certificates from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and from Kapodistrian University, Athens, Greece. He is a certified trainer from Starwood, an American Hotel and Leisure Company, as well as from Six Seconds, a non-profit California based organization dedicated to the awareness of Emotional Intelligence worldwide. He presents at conferences regularly and has extensive operational experience in the Hospitality and Tourism sector, where he has been working the last 30 years, across the globe. Furthermore, he held the position of full-time lecturer for four years in Swiss Hotel Management School, in Leysin, Switzerland.

Currently he is the Hotel Manager in one of the Cruise Ships of VIKING. At Hellenic American College Mr. Mougios teaches for the Business Department.
