Nevradakis, Michael

Dr. Michael Nevradakis is a scholar, journalist, and radio/podcast producer, who completed a Ph.D. in Media Studies at the University of Texas in 2018. His dissertation, titled “From the Polis to Facebook: Social media and the development of a new Greek public sphere,” was derived from research performed in Greece between 2012-2017, which was funded by the U.S. Fulbright Foundation, the Greek State Scholarships Foundation, the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, the Erasmus+ program, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He previously completed a MA in Public Policy (2007) and a BA in Political Science, Summa Cum Laude (2005) from Stony Brook University. He has taught communication and journalism courses at the University of Texas, the American College of Greece, and New York College. He is an editor and writer with Orthos Logos News, and previously produced and managed a variety of radio stations, radio programs, and podcasts. Dr. Nevradakis is currently an adjunct faculty member teaching in the General Education and Business programs.

Tsolis, Pete

Panagiote (Pete) Tsolis holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an MBA from the same university. He earned his Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change at Pepperdine University. He has over 18 years of corporate experience, mostly in the hospitality and casino gaming industry, where he worked in leadership position with organizations such as MGM Resorts International and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He also taught at the University of Saint Katherine. Now professionally active as an independent consultant, Pete is Assistant Professor and Director of Business Programs at Hellenic American University.

Lalatsis, Haris

Haris Lalatsis holds an MBA from the American College of Thessaloniki. Since 2008, he has been working in market research and for the last 3 years, he has served as CEO of ierax analytix, a boutique research agency he founded with offices in Athens and Thessaloniki. Throughout his career, he has cooperated with most of Greece’s major brands in both qualitative and quantitative research projects. His experience is mostly in the food and beverage sector, with product and package testing, focus groups, data analytics and decoding consumers’ decision-making process. He is a TEDx Speaker and the only ICA for Greece working directly with Euromonitor International London. He is also a certified member of ESOMAR, a global professional organization for market, social, and opinion researchers. Haris teaches in the Business programs of Hellenic American University.

Koumproglou, Antonia

Antonia is a transdisciplinary scholar of management and intercultural communication, who explores the intersections between culture, language and cross-cultural, technology-mediated communication and organizational learning. She holds an MΑ in Media, Culture and Communication from the University of London, Institute of Education, and is a PhD candidate in Education at the University of Ruskin Anglia. Antonia has extensive teaching and research experience, mainly from her positions at Coventry University (London), University of East London, University of Bedfordshire, London College of International Business Studies, EU Business School, and Open University where she held the position of Subject Leader for Marketing and PR pathways for the Undergraduate Program. She has participated in various conferences and has been a contributing author and editor in a number of books. She is currently an Associate Editor for the book Small Business Management and Control of the Uncertain External Environment - Emerald Publications, UK, and a reviewer for the Springer Nature Journal of Knowledge Economy – JKEC. Antonia is a Member of CMI (MCMI) and Fellow of HEA the in UK. She is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Business Department at Hellenic American University.

Hansel, Jeffrey

Jeffrey Hansel holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Information Technology from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. He has over twenty years of professional experience in credit and banking, managing highly complex middle-market relationships with lending sizes up to $75 million. He is currently vice president of a community bank where he manages all aspects of the Small Business Lending Group, and has helped the bank win several U.S. Small Business Administration awards. Jeffrey has taught courses in operations research, sales management, financial statement & cash flow analysis, business legal structures, small business lending basics, and start-up lending. He is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the MBA program.
