Culurgioni, Luca

Luca Culurgioni is an Italian psychology graduate who lived in the United Kingdom for seven years before moving to Greece. He completed a Foundation Year in Health and Social Care, a BSc in Psychology at the University of Westminster, and an MSc in Educational Neuroscience jointly delivered by Birkbeck, University of London, and University College London. During his studies, he conducted supervised research on the Multilingual Advantage Theory, investigating potential cognitive differences among early multilinguals. He is currently developing a PhD proposal exploring the impact of digital exposure on perceptual processing and mental health. He has professional experience in the UK health sector, including roles as an Assistant Psychologist and Neuro-rehabilitation Coach, working with clinical populations. His psychological orientation is grounded in the biopsychosocial model, focusing on the interaction between cognitive and biological processes, environmental factors, and psychological well-being. He currently serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Psychology Department at Hellenic American College.
