Michael, Andrew

Andrew Michael received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University and his Master of Arts degree in Economics from Northeastern University. Dr. Michael has over 20 years of experience teaching undergraduate business and M.B.A. level courses. Between 2011 and 2013, Dr. Michael was the main trainer for managers in Cyprus enrolled in the Certified Manager professional training program of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM). While living in Cyprus, he was a consultant to small businesses and also served as president/manager of voluntary youth organizations. Dr. Michael is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the "Journal of Organizational Analysis" and serves as a reviewer for the academic journals "Personnel Review" and "The International Journal of Human Resource Management". He has presented his research at various conferences and has served as chair for the HRM research track of the EuroMed Research Business Institute’s (EMRBI) annual EuroMed conferences. He has also published in peer review journals and edited books.

Research Interests

Humanistic management; corporate social responsibility; work life balance, work attitudes and motivation; emotional intelligence; political economy.

Liu, Yixin

Yixin Liu obtained her Ph.D degree in the field of finance from the University of Iowa, an M.S. degree in economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a B.A. degree in economics from Nankai University. She joined the University of New Hampshire in 2007 and is currently an Associate Professor of Finance at the Peter T. Paul School of Business & Economics of UNH. She has taught various finance courses both at the introductory and advanced levels.  She recently received the SWFA Award for Best Paper in Corporate Finance (2013).

Research Interests

Agency conflicts, costs of debt, capital structure and ownership structure.

Li, Nan

Nan Li obtained the Master of Accounting Degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and passed the CPA qualification exam. He graduated from Nankai University in China with a B.S. degree in Management. He had previously worked as financial analyst and investment manager in China. Currently he works associated with Keller Williams Realty, focusing on investment properties and commercial properties.

Kounougeri Petsetaki, Elisabeth

Elisabeth Kounougeri Petsetaki is a senior lecturer at the Department of Health Services Management in the National School of Public Health, Greece (NSPH) where she teaches health services management courses in the postgraduate program. She has a degree in Biology from Rice University and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a health educator in the U.S. she directed programs for school-age children, and for cancer patients under treatment, rehabilitation and long term care at UCLA, and was also involved in the efforts of tobacco control in California. In Greece she works in the area of human resources development and improving management capacity in health services organizations and has played a strategic role in the development of the health services management postgraduate program at the NSPH. She is involved in European collaborative projects including: development of health services management courses, health workforce issues, infrastructure development in public health, European health reforms, interregional health, market forces, public health ethics, the management of health and care services of the elderly, access to health, and tobacco control research efforts. She is an active member of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER), and has served on the Scientific Advisory Committee of the European Health and on the Board. She has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Health Policy and is currently on the editorial board of the Journal Society, Economics and Health (Greek). At Hellenic American University, she teaches healthcare management courses at the MBA\PMBA level.

Jackson, Juanita

Juanita Jackson holds an MBA Degree in Business Management, and is currently pursuing her PhD.in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a specialization in Diversity Studies and Social Change at Walden University. As an adjunct professor, she teaches in the MBA program for Hellenic American University both on campus and and online via e-learning. Juanita also serves as a Capstone Advisor to students as well.
